Ancient terraces of the Rhone, clay-limestone soils
We harvest the various grape varieties from this cuvee in mid September to achieve the perfect ripeness of each variety.
The quality of the harvest was beautiful for the whites this year.
We harvested early in the morning to avoid the high daytime temperatures.
Viognier (50%), Marsanne (25%), White Grenache (15%) and Roussanne (10%).
Each varietal is fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks for approximately 3 weeks at between 12 and 15°C. The lees are stirred frequently. First bottling in late November.
Beautiful color with intense golden highlights.
The nose exhibits dominant aromas of white flowers (acacia) and citrus.
Full–bodied on the palate, rich, very fruity, and opulent.
Fresh and balanced with powerful aromas of apricot, white peach, and floral notes.
Food pairing : aperitif, fish, shellfish, but also white meats and goat cheese.
